Seneca Valley School District has a full-time permanent School Counselor position in the Seneca Valley Alternative Education Program.  

          Requirement: PA certification Elementary and Secondary School Counselor PK-12

          Alternative education experience preferred.  

Duties Include:

- Providing school counseling services for students placed in the Alternative Education Program.

- Conducting group conseling sessions.

- Collaborating with teachers to prepare and schedule activities for social awareness lessons based on classroom-wide and individual student needs.

- Contributing to Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS) as a member of the PBIS team.
